Bye Bye Ba Ba!

I'm sure you remember this.
Now see this?

YAY!

It's true, Jakey had his last bottle two days ago... we did it! My husband is still a little sad, probably more upset than Jakey but if I never wash another bottle again I will be SOOOOO happy. Now if we could only get rid of sippy cups.....

  1. Oh I so wish! Caden does only the sippy at daycare and has been for months. I try it at home and he crys and crys. I give in and the world is happy. I so am on a mission to do that as soon as the new year hits. One resolution I'm sticking too :).

    Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Thanks so much for stopping by and supporting the blanket drive. I totally remember the last of the bottle thing, so the second time around, we use the bottle so infrequent and pretty much just give my 9 month old fluids right out of the regular cup (and my boobs). My two year old uses regular cups and glasses which is much easier than cleaning the small plastic rubber bits and tiny crevices of the kid sippies.

  3. Oh, I remember that day in our house... I think it is a little sadder for the parents, my girl did quite fine with it!! Way to go.. the sippy cups may take a little longer, but they always move on pretty fast!!

Oh, hey, I'm in Michigan too!!!

  4. I've only had one give it up before one year. My baby is almost 2, but still likes the baba. But, she never really took a binkie, so I guess I take the good with the bad, right?

  5. Of course!! I use a Canon Rebel... and love it. There are newer models available now, but I don't want to upgrade yet, because I'm still getting all the lenses I want. :) It's fun though!!!!!!

  6. It does feel good to get rid of those bottles. My daughter asked me the other day if she would be able to rid herself of being baby hungry. I told her it took me a while but, yes. She is pregnant with her last one and worried she'll want another.

  8. Hooray and congratulations!

As for the sippy cups, I think *I* am more nervous about giving those up! (Spills everywhere? Yikes!)
